Ahead of the May 30th debut of their EP, A Soulless Drive, Heavy Metal/Hard Rock outfit, Hilltops Are For Dreamers have unleashed a new single and video, Halo Above.

“This three-track EP follows last year’s release, The Tragedy of Being Human, and brings the thematic cycle to a close. With A Soulless Drive, the band delves once more into the darker corners of the human mind with a sense of hopeful introspection.

Musically, the EP takes a more direct, rock-influenced approach, with clean vocals at the forefront. The song structures are more accessible, blending elements of alternative rock, gothic tones, and classic heavy metal into a cohesive sound.

Each of the three tracks was released as a single between March and May, each accompanied by a lyric video. The new single Halo Above – released today as a single on the main digital streaming platforms, as well as lyric video – is dedicated to the memory of Miika Tenkula, the late guitarist and main songwriter of Finnish metal band Sentenced.
