Templo de Fraude by Necrólisis Review

Hail, you jungle-forged headbangers of the Black Metal Archives—Sean here, still reeling from the relentless thrash of Necrólisis’ Templo de Fraude. Spun this beast tonight, and it’s like Turrialba’s raw streets unleashed a sonic riot in my skull. Grabbed it off Bandcamp, released March 28, 2025, via Witches Brew, and its nine tracks of Spanish-language mayhem are a call to arms—let’s storm this fraud and break it down!

Necrólisis rose from Turrialba, Costa Rica, in 2002, a three-man wrecking crew—Sergio Velásquez (vocals, guitar), Tomas Campos (bass, backing vocals), and Jainer (drums, backing vocals). Templo de Fraude is their debut full-length, a Witches Brew-backed blitz of old-school Latin thrash.

Let’s dive into some of the standout tracks!

Sacrilegio y Muerte” hits like a street fight—Sergio’s guitars blaze with jagged riffs, his vocals a furious snarl in Spanish that grabs me tight. Jainer’s drums smash like bricks through windows—I’m thrashing, hooked on the chaos.

Templo de Fraude” charges next, the title track a razor-edged assault—Tomas’ bass rumbles deep, backing vocals adding a gang-chant bite, while Sergio’s axe rips with Slayer’s ruthless vibe.

Pacto de las Sombras” keeps the heat, a galloping thrasher with Jainer’s kit pounding relentless—my neck’s begging for mercy. “Dejalos Arder” slows to a vicious groove, guitars and bass smoldering like a burning effigy—damn, it’s a flame that lingers.

Necrólisis’ sound is a Costa Rican street brawl—Sergio’s guitar and vokills channel Kreator’s early venom, Tomas’ bass and backing vocals add a gritty heft, and Jainer’s drums and chants drive it like a runaway truck. It’s raw, unpolished, and fiercely DIY—feels like they tracked this in a Turrialba backroom, fueled by sweat and defiance. In metal’s lineage, this echoes Sarcófago’s Latin rage and Overkill’s scrappy thrash, but with a Tico heart that’s all their own. Templo de Fraude is a rebel’s torch—blast it loud, let it torch your soul, and join me in this street-level revolt.

You fire-forged renegades, drop your takes below—how did this album spark your fight? Stream it on Bandcamp and burn the fraud!

Stay feral, you thrash-bred wraiths, and keep the chaos alive!
