Belgian Sludge/Doom collective Predatory Void have released a new single/video for the track New Moon, taken from their forthcoming EP, Atoned in Metamorphosis, out February 6th via Pelagic Records.

Guitarist Lennart Bossu comments:

“New Moon was the first song we wrote for the EP and set the tone for what followed. It reflects a relentless chase for wholeness that always ends in emptiness, mirroring the moon’s endless cycle.”

While the band says of their upcoming EP:

“Atoned in Metamorphosis represents the process of confronting the uncomfortable truths within ourselves, the obsessions, the grievances, the shadow sides so many hide or ignore. As we evolve and change in life, we’re inevitably faced with these darker, sometimes evil and obsessive parts, both in ourselves and in others. In recognising our flaws, we begin to find strength, not in perfection, but in self-awareness. For some, this can feel like a spiritual or emotional cleansing, a kind of healing that comes from seeing ourselves fully, and embracing what we once tried to deny.”
