French Post-Hardcore four-piece Gros Enfant Mort have unleashed a new single/video for the track Merci les Cendres, taken from their forthcoming album Le sang des Pierres due out January 23rd via Moment of Collapse.

“This song captures the fragile moment when, after watching one’s life go up in smoke, depression finally begins to lift. Sensations return, colors reappear, and with them, the possibility of a future – even if uncertain, even if built on ruins. It speaks of the lucid and painful decision to keep moving forward, using the still-warm embers and ashes of the past as the foundation for rebuilding. Caught between hope and vertigo, it’s a tentative attempt to be reborn in a world that’s still burning.“
