After a decade of silence, Black Metal pioneers Asaru have announced their new album V.O.I.D will be released January 23rd via Schwarzdorn Production.

“From the beginning, the name ASARU has stood for uncompromising Black Metal, deeply rooted in the Norwegian tradition yet always bearing its own distinctive and characterful signature.
From the outset, ASARU pursued the goal of realizing their very own vision of Black Metal, far removed from common scene conventions and without the urge to meet any expectations other than their own. The result is a multifaceted and truly independent body of work that has shaped German Black Metal for decades: at times epic, at times thrashy, always creative but never frivolous and above all: absolutely authentic.
