Hyperion Announce New Album: Cybergenesis

Italian Heavy Metal outfit Hyperion have announced their new album, Cybergenesis, will be available on January 15th, via Fighter Records.

You can get a taste of Cybergenesis by watching the video for the track Deafening here:

“Their debut album Dangerous Days arrived in November 2017 via Fighter Records, earning worldwide promotion and distribution. After founding drummer Jason Beghelli stepped down for personal reasons, Francesco Madonna joined the band for their second release. Into the Maelstrom followed in 2020, again through Fighter Records, and received excellent reviews internationally.

The band underwent major lineup changes in 2021—longtime bassist Antonio Scalia was replaced by Simone Cauli in September 2022, and guitarist Luke Fortini gave way to Francis Dipasquale (Dypron). Work on new material began despite these shifts, and after singer Michelangelo Carano left in spring 2023, Max Morelli (Signum Draconis, Ladykiller) was recruited to complete the current lineup.

With this revitalized formation, HYPERION finished writing and producing Cybergenesis, an album representing both continuity and rebirth. Guitarist Davide Cotti, the band’s last original member and principal composer, ensures the group’s sound remains true: driving riffs, bursts of speed, gritty vocals, and instantly memorable choruses.”
