Czech Melodic Death Metal outfit Innersphere have released a new single Abyss of the Flame, available now via Smile Music Records.

“Abyss of the Flame is, for us, mainly a reaction to the current state of society. We are witnessing the bloom of technology and endless possibilities, but also a massive decline in human creativity, individuality, and morality. In an age full of AI tools, algorithms, and social media pressure, we are succumbing to manipulation of reality, perception, and self-awareness. With tools that could elevate us as a species, we are instead degenerating, degrading, and becoming slaves to them—slaves to the system, business, and foreign interests. What we’ve been watching for a long time is a sad reality. That’s why I deeply appreciate everyone who truly creates, acts, and lives, and doesn’t just spread hate. Let’s be strong, be ourselves, be human.

The anniversary concert ‘X Years of Innersphere’ was like a holiday for all of us—both current and past members, and of course our fans. Everyone who has ever left a mark on Innersphere’s music and path was there. We’ve always had good relationships, and it was both nostalgic and exciting to play together again, even if just for a while. Already during rehearsals, everything clicked perfectly—that chemistry was still there. I’m really happy it worked out like this. Even though we all live different lives now, and our priorities have changed, we’re still here together.”
