Portuguese Doom Metal group On The Loose have announced their new album Path to Serenity will be released on November 2nd.
In advance of Path to Serenity, On The Loose have released three videos, the latest of which – 1977 Simple Man – you can watch here:
“The band was established in 2020 by guitarist Marco Marouco, who has performed with Els Focs Negres and Omission, and drummer JP Ventura, also recognised from his work with Dawnrider and The Limit. Their debut album, “On The Loose”, appeared in 2022, followed by “Dark Emotions” in 2023. Each release saw a different vocalist: Flávio Lino on the first and Pedro Fialho Jesus on the second.
For “Path to Serenity,” two new musicians have joined. Rick Thor, known from bands like Filii Nigrantium Infernalium, Ravensire, and Ironsword, takes on vocals, while Toni Cagaita, whose background is in Portuguese punk, joins on bass.”
