The Black Flame Festival is happening. Autumn 2026. Somewhere in the UK. And we’re doing it for one reason: to give underground extreme metal the platform it deserves. Not the polished, corporate-approved version, not the watered-down “scene” bands that get shoved onto streaming playlists. We’re talking raw, uncompromising, boundary-pushing Black, Death, and Thrash Metal from bands that bleed this music like it’s life itself.
So far, eight bands have thrown their lot in with us, committed to making this first outing a statement rather than a warm-up:
- The Lucidia Project (USA)
- Beyond the Pale (Holland)
- Aubzagl (UK)
- Order of the Wolf (UK)
- Karnstein (UK)
- Splendidula (Belgium)
- Tigguo Cobauc (UK)
- Copse BM (UK)
This is just the beginning. The Black Flame Festival isn’t about numbers or glitz; it’s about community, integrity, and giving the underground the stage it deserves. It’s about creating a space where unsigned bands, established underground heroes, fans, and creators can meet in the fire of shared devotion to extreme music.
Funding and Vision:
We’re serious about making this happen, and that means funding. We’re aiming for £75,000–£80,000 through National Lottery and PRS schemes to cover production, logistics, and artist fees. But we’re also reaching out to sponsors to expand the festival’s reach and quality—anything that can help turn this from a concept into a high-impact reality. Sponsorship will never dilute the vision; it will amplify it.
How You Can Get Involved:
Bands: If you’re unsigned, underground, and want to be part of something that actually celebrates the scene rather than commodifies it, we want to hear from you. Applications will remain open until January 1st, 2026. You can email [email protected] for more details.
PR Companies & Labels: We’re not looking for lip service. If you want to help push underground bands into the light, get involved with promotion, press support, or artist liaison. Reach out and let’s talk about what you can contribute.
Fans: You are the heartbeat of the festival. Show up, spread the word, and support this endeavor in whatever way you can. Crowdfunding, social media, word of mouth—it all matters.
The Ethos:
This isn’t just another festival. It’s a declaration: underground extreme metal deserves respect, exposure, and a stage. It’s about taking the raw energy, the uncompromising vision, and the defiance of the underground and giving it space to breathe. It’s about community over corporate profit, integrity over convenience, and music over marketing.
Expect chaos, expect intensity, expect the kind of performances that leave scars on your mind and soul. Expect a festival that remembers why extreme metal exists: to challenge, to provoke, to illuminate the darkness.
We’re just getting started. Eight bands are on board, and we want you to be part of the next wave. Whether you’re a band, a promoter, a label, or a fan, there’s a place for you in the fire of the Black Flame Festival.
Stay tuned, stay aggressive, and get ready—Autumn 2026 is coming, and the underground is rising.
