Post-Black/Post-Hardcore/Avant-Garde artist Lucynine has released a new single, Narciso Non Muore, ahead of their forthcoming new album, Melena, due out October 3rd via Talheim Records Germany.

“The visceral need to communicate his personal unease involved not only the composition and writing of the lyrics (first time completely in Italian), but also the stylistic choices in the production: the sound is claustrophobic, the vocal line is kept very underneath, as if it was suffocated by the wall of sound that subjugates it, the immoderate use of the compressors dries all the possible air out. In the fifth track “Opera al Nero”, an intricate 15 minute song, all of this described above is exacerbated to the limit and beyond. It is a record born from suffering to make you suffer as well.”
