Old school Death Metal band Ancient Malice have released their debut album, Accept the Vile Gifts of the Dead, available now.

“Accept the Vile Gifts of the Dead” is the debut full-length from Ancient Malice, a raw death metal band formed by Steve Maher (ex-Abaddon Incarnate). The album was recorded live in their rehearsal space — no edits, no triggers, no tricks. Just straight-up death metal, loud and unapologetic.

With members of Coldwar and engineering handled by drummer Adam Power, the band leans into the harsh, untamed spirit of late ’80s underground metal. It’s aggressive and stripped back, capturing the feeling of a time when things were dirtier, rougher, and more real.
