Serpent God Release Sermon

Finnish Death/Doom Metal band Serpent God have released a new single, sermon, ahead of their forthcoming album, Denial, available October 10th via Inverse Records.

“Sermon on blood, sermon on death. The song is up-beat and has a bit of threatening and eerie feeling to it. Lots of classic 90’s Swedish metal elements as building blocks. Starts with heavy double kicks and heavy riffing, no questions asked. Backing choirs create ritualistic or religious wibes to the song. Life is a one long and painful ritual after all. Like an iron mask forged in brimstone, finished in the flames of hellfire.”
