International Thrash Band Sandfinger have announded a new EP, Minus Illusion, on May 2nd, and have released a visualizer video for It Was Nothing which you can see below.

Sandfinger are an international thrash metal project formed by guitarist Markus Öhrlich. Foundations were laid when in 2023 he sent a couple of songs to Annihilator’sFabio Alessandrini. Following, Öhrlich again teamed up with guitarist Vitaliy Kozubenko, with whom he had cooperated on 2 albums and an EP for alternative thrashers Konvolted. Attempting to make Sandfinger’s sound different while maintaining the genre, Öhrlich concentrated on classic style in songwriting, leaving out groove and alternative influences, whilst Kozubenko settled his solos in the harmonic and polyphonic fields of the early 90s. Markedly different for sure, it came with the addition of Death Metal singer Icanbefree and the choice to have the lyrics in his native tongue, Japanese.
